I was lucky enough to meet Carmen’s family a number of months ago when I took photographs of her beautiful niece – Penelope.  When we arrived to the girls getting ready Penelope was there to join in on the occasion, how she has grown!  Carmen was getting her final touches done from Katie Kerr.  The girls were hanging out in these fantastic robes Carmen had gifted them.

I couldn’t get over these beautiful bouquets made by Grower Direct Acadia.

We made our way to Calgary’s delicious PZA Parlour which is such a cool building for a wedding! Inside is the most amazing decor and a photo op at every turn.  Friends and family were waiting patiently, as was Addi.  You could just tell how excited he was at the thought of seeing Carmen.

The string lights gave the place a romantic feel.  It was beautiful, but what really stood out in this ceremony were the vows Addi and Carmen shared with each other.  It was completely evident how much love, respect, and care are between the two of them.

It is evident how close these family bonds are and how everyone steps in to care of the others.  All the way from everyone taking care of business at PZA Pizza Parlour to the entire family going to Carburn Park for photos.

The sun continued to shine throughout the day which left us for a great time to take the bridal party photos which looked like they were straight out of a magazine.

I love when a bride and groom choose to take some time to just spend some alone time together (accompanied by 2 photographers lurking in the trees!)  Again, the connection between the two of them was obvious.

Congratulations Carmen and Addi!
