Grounded. Present. Beautifully You.

Beautiful, Joyful & Heartfelt Wedding Photographs for Genuine Humans in Calgary, Banff, Canmore & the Alberta Rockies

You’ve found your partner, your “don’t want to do this with anyone else” person.

This isn’t just a wedding. It’s your story, your people, and a day meant to be felt, not just remembered.

No stiff poses or being pulled out of the moment. Just the two of you sharing a knowing glance, hearts bursting open, breathing easier because you’re side by side.

Too often, couples end up with photos that feel nothing like them, and picture time becomes something to “get through.” But it doesn’t have to be that way.

Your photo time can be a chance to step away from the noise, slow down, laugh together, and sink into the magic of it all.

Because this day is your story and it deserves to be remembered in beautiful images that radiate joy and capture the heart of what matters most.

So that you can take an extra moment to hold the hand beside you, feel the ground beneath your feet and carry with you the kind of presence that makes you believe in magic.

Shannon is everything you want in a photographer.

We selected Shannon to do our engagement and wedding photos and we made the best decision.

Shannon is incredible at capturing so many candid moments and beautiful shots. Shannon even put together a beautiful slideshow of photos during our dinner that played after speeches were done. Everyone was amazed at that!

Shannon is everything you want in a photographer. She’s punctual, knows great spots in Calgary, is great at communicating, patient, has an amazing eye for detail and it the most kind and genuine person you would ever meet. Most importantly Shannon is the most fun.

We recommend her to anyone looking for an amazing wedding photographer.

With the right photographer, getting your photo taken

becomes a chance to step away from the noise and into the moment.

Shannon is literally the glue that held our day together and was a big reason that our wedding was so much fun!

Our wedding day was action packed with lots of moving pieces. Shannon and her team were easy going and flexible, especially when the day was not going exactly to plan. Her relaxed demeanour helped to keep me calm and allowed me to enjoy the day that much more.

Due to some of the chaos on the day, we had to reduce the time scheduled for both pictures and the first look from 3 hours to 30 minutes. Shannon still nailed the shoot and I more than love our collection of wedding photos.

I would beyond highly recommend her to anyone looking for an amazing professional! If you choose her for your special day, not only do you not have to stress about pictures, but know that she has your back!

Jason and Jamie Lefebre

Choosing Shannon to be our photographer was one of the best wedding decisions we made. Something myself and my now husband found to be the most intimidating step when planning, was finding the right photographer. Upon starting our search for a photographer, we were overwhelmed with the quantity of wedding professionals out there. It seemed many portfolios had the same look, and that seeing pictures was really all we had to go by when making a choice. Besides having gorgeous photos to represent her work, Shannon was the only photography professional that felt like a person, and not just a camera. No one really stood out to us, and we felt that it was eventually just time to pick one just to secure a booking. But something was telling me to keep looking...and I am so glad we did, because this is when we found Shannon! Upon reaching out to Shannon, she scheduled a virtual meet and greet with us so that we would be able to get to know the person behind the camera. (Click down arrows to read full review)

We appreciated getting to know her before making any bookings, and actually talking with her about what we wanted out wedding day to look like. I really felt like she wanted to get to know us and our vision before she accepted the job.

We chose a package that also included engagement photos, and I am so glad we did! Of course, the photos turned out incredible, but I think that having that first shoot with Shannon really gave us an idea of what the wedding day would feel like with her as well.

My husband and I were both weary of being in front of the camera, and often feel quite robotic or unnatural in photos, but on the day of our engagement shoot, it honestly felt like there was no camera present. Shannon took on the challenge of photographing the both of us and our horse, who was particularly frisky that day. The weather was also less than ideal, very windy and grey. But once we started the shoot, it was like none of those factors mattered. Shannon had us laughing and talking and just having a great time. She captured all the precious moments with our horse, and made us feel surprisingly comfortable! It was not pose after pose, but rather, she let us just be ourselves with some direction. The photos that resulted from this were so natural and fun!

I feel like she truly captured US.

The wedding and the days leading up to it were no different. As to be expected with wedding planning, there were things that were out of our control-weather, road construction etc. Throughout all of the stressors, Shannon was there to comfort and reassure us. She wanted to be in the loop when it came to the days schedule, and it was important to her to know what we especially wanted captured. She walked in that day knowing fully what was happening & when. She was ready and prepared for everything!

The weather during the day of the wedding was very up and down, and Shannon knew I was nervous about this. Along with assuring me that everything would be beautiful despite the weather, she brought my whole family clear umbrellas for the pictures. We got lucky and didn’t have to use them! But the fact that she thought about us was incredible! Our photos turned out magical, we had no doubts about that, but something that myself, my husband, and my family cannot stop talking about is how amazing Shannon and her team were on the day.

We had a very intimate ceremony and reception, so having two photographers, my family and friends got to know them and interact with them. They made our guests feel so comfortable in front of the camera! the pictures captured the hearts of each of them!

Having Shannon and her team at the wedding felt like we had more friends there. Although they took the job very seriously, and were always right there for each moment, it felt like they were a part of the day as family! Choosing Shannon to be our photographer was one of the best wedding decisions we made. There is truly no one more perfect that we could have had capture our special day.

Thank you Shannon and Team! Thank you for capturing all of the special moments, and for just being you!

If this feels aligned with your vision, schedule a no pressure 30 minute to chat, dream a little, and see what it would look like to have me document your love story with honesty, joy and heart.

Shannon’s talent, heart, and passion can be seen in every single picture she takes.

Not only were the pictures she photographed of our wedding unbelievable – Shannon and her mom were an amazing team, and such a fun addition to our day.

During a time that can be quite stressful, overwhelming and exhausting, Shannon went above and beyond in every single way. She helped me through the planning process with scheduling a wedding in Calgary and making sure we were on track.

We will never turn to another photographer in Calgary, and will be sure to recommend Shannon to everyone we know!

Shannon embraced our natural goofiness and through some sorcery, turned it into photos that were fun, natural, and really captured the energy of the day.

Having not had professional photos done before, my fiance and I were a little worried about looking stilted and awkward. She took the time to understand what we were looking for and really knew the area which helped a lot.

Definitely recommend!

Not only does she have an ability to make everyone feel comfortable, you can tell she truly cares about your story and who you are.

As an LGBTQ+ couple, we wanted to ensure we were fully comfortable and cheered on by the vendors we chose.  Shannon checked all of these boxes.

Not only does she have the ability to make everyone feel comfortable, you can tell sue truly cares about your story and who you are. This definitely shows through in our photos.

We are in love with our photos and continue to watch the slideshow to take us back to that day. Not only that, but she also took a beautiful night photo of us dancing in our backyard surrounded by the people we love, that we now have as art work for our walls.

I knew Shannon was the photographer for us in our first call.

When I advised my fiancé is not a fan of having his photograph taken she had great ideas how we could manage this to help him feel comfortable. We wanted a night shot and we were excited to hear this was her speciality!

The day of the wedding came with unexpected challenges including bad weather and a delayed ceremony. Shannon responded with a classy and calming presence amongst the guests while waiting for my late arrival. It gave me reassurance some things were going right. I finally made it to the ceremony, the sun came out, my dream of arriving in a horse and carriage came true and Shannon and her mother were there to capture it all!

My husband and I appreciated Shannon was committed to the process from beginning to the end. She was organized with schedules, times and itineraries. She was familiar with our venue, collaborative and considerate of other wedding providers. She responded quickly to messages and we felt she had fair pricing for value/quality service.

Shannon is professional and kind. It is obvious she is passionate about her work and caring towards her customers. She can quickly make connections and easily adapts to a variety of people and situations. All these attributes combined with her talent and creativity, shine through in her beautiful images and stories that speak for themselves.

Thank you Shannon. ❤️

She gave direction only when we looked awkward, this allowed us to just be natural and ourselves and this came through in the photos.

Shannon is not only a very talented photographer, she is also an amazing person. My husband hates getting his picture taken so he was very nervous when I told him that we would not only have wedding photos done, but also engagement pictures. We met up with Shannon in Canmore and as soon as we met her we both started to relax and really enjoy the session.

Shannon is so good at making you feel comfortable in the photos. When I look back at both the engagement photos and the wedding photos I can tell it is us. She captured our personalities in a way that I didn’t think was possible. She gave direction only when we looked awkward, this allowed us to just be natural and ourselves and this came through in the photos. We had so much fun goofing around and joking with Shannon.

The wedding day was even better! Shannon and her mom came to the house and got some amazing candid shots that captured our amazing day. I had a malfunction with my wedding dress where instead of having a dramatic reveal of my dress to my bridesmaids, they all were gathered around me literally sewing buttons back onto my dress! Shannon got some amazing photos of the ordeal and helped to keep the vibe calm, cool and collected.

Again, all our wedding photos capture the fun and joy of the day. Whenever I look at them I am transported back to the best day ever. We all look so happy, relaxed and natural. One of the highlights for all the guests (and for my husband and I) was when Shannon projected some of the photos from the day during the reception. It was so great to see everyone’s reactions to the stunning photos! Thank you, Shannon, for your positive outlook, creative style and for capturing the vibe of our wedding day!

For as stressful as planning a wedding can be, Shannon made the photography portion easy.

We were able to truly enjoy our day while they captured every moment inside and out. During our first look and for our first shots as husband and wife, they gave us the chance to enjoy ourselves and let us guide much of the process. It was great to have these moments feel natural and organic and I believe that shows in our beautiful photos.

So many of our guests commented on the amazing video collage Shannon put together before dinner and I still love to watch it and reminisce about the day.
