Steve and Kathleen 1 Year Later

1 year ago Steve and Kathleen were at this exact same spot.  Kathleen was approaching Steve as he faced away, both full of nerves and excitement.  When Steve saw Kathleen for the first time in her wedding dress his face lit up, quickly following he had her do a full turn around and raised his hands to display some perfection signs.

I met these two to celebrate being together one year.  That is a special thing, a couple that still makes sure to celebrate their relationship and take the time out for something like a photo session.  So many people wait for an exact moment or milestone to document the time in photos, but how amazing is it to celebrate one year and each other this way?

We then wandered through Princes Island Park, and headed to The Peace Bridge, where we had just wandered a year ago with their wedding party in tow.

One of the best parts of photographing weddings is getting to know couples, and then seeing them later for some new life events.  Steve continues to make Kathleen giggle and laugh.  These two have made sure this first year of marriage that they make time for each other – currently making sure to hit up the gym together.

These two are pure fun and love.  I can’t wait to see as they continue to celebrate each other and grow together.
